Volunteers Needed!

  • Grade Parents - Help out with your grade level! Information/sign-ups coming at Back-to-School Night.

  • School Site Council - This is an important group of teachers, parents and classified employees that works with the Principal to develop, review and evaluate school improvement programs and school budgets. Contact janaholmes@berkeley.net.

  • Football Parking Volunteers - We need volunteers to help monitor the yard during games. This is a significant fundraiser for the PTA. Come help for an hour or two or more! Contact parking@emersonelementary.org.

  • Workspace Admin - Manage users/groups/permissions. Contact admin@emersonelementary.org.

  • Co-Treasurer - Help complete reimbursements, balance accounts, make filings. Contact treasurer@emersonelementary.org.

  • Safe Routes to School Liaison - Coordinate with the Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools (SR2S) Program to facilitate safe and sustainable methods for getting to and from Emerson.

  • Movie Night Coordinator - We want to bring back movie nights / parent’s night out! Volunteer to help us coordinate! Contact president@emersonelementary.org
